Glock Introduces A Pistol Caliber Carbine

Based on the overwhelming response to their new single-stack 9mm pistol and their new red-dot ready pistols, Glock will soon roll out a pistol-caliber carbine in 9mm. I had a chance to chat briefly with Gerd Heidemann, the project manager for this exciting new gun, and he said the gun is unlike anything anyone has ever done in the firearms industry ever before. The gun is completely new, based on one-of-a-kind proprietary Glock technology and built from the ground up with reliability in mind.

Glock USA project manager Clifford Irving said the new carbine, which will have the innovative name of “Glock 44”, will be a unique and special gun that challenges our perceptions of what a pistol-caliber carbine can and should be, along with our perceptions of reality itself.

Ladies and gentlemen, behold, the Glock pistol caliber carbine.

Yep. Looks like a Glock to me...

It has a Glock grip, Glock trigger, it even says “Glock” on it up there by the charging handle. It’s a Glock carbine, through and through.

Would I like to you about this, especially on a day like today? 😉
